Throp, Michelle MS, CCC-A
Michelle Throp, M.S., CCC-A, attended Sacramento State, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 2001, and completed a Master of Science degree in Audiology in 2004. She holds state licensure as a dispensing audiologist and is a member of the California Academy of Audiology (CAA).
In addition to fitting traditional hearing devices, Michelle is one of the area’s few providers approved to fit Lyric® extended wear invisible hearing devices. She enjoys the diversity of being a diagnostic and dispensing audiologist; but finds the most rewarding aspect to be the interactions with her patients. Michelle sees herself as a caring audiologist who strives to go above and beyond to meet their needs.
Michelle considers her biggest professional achievement to be the completion of her fellowship at Central California Ear Nose & Throat. She still appreciates all her mentors there. In her free time, Michelle enjoys running (she once completed the NIke Women’s Half Marathon in San Francisco) and spending time with her daughter (“luckily, she hasn’t outgrown me yet,” she said).
