Referrals to Specialists

Referrals to specialists are handled by your primary care provider if your insurance requires it. For some patients who have a PPO and do not require referrals, you still may need to get a referral from your provider in case the specialty you are being referred to requires one. Be sure to discuss your needs with your primary provider.

Selecting a Primary Care Provider

Choosing a personal provider is one of the most important decisions you can make for your health. Marshall primary care providers compassionate, caring and invested in your health and well-being. They enjoy building long-lasting relationships with their patients. Most of our physicians and nurse practitioners are board certified or board eligible, ensuring you have access to the top providers in their field.

To select a primary care provider, you may view providers on the various medical office pages, or do a search on our provider finder. Call the office to make sure that provider is accepting new patients, discuss insurance specifics and make your first appointment.
